We are currently seeking applications for the position of an experienced Deputy Maintenance Manager in charge of Line Maintenance, to join our team at Aero4M d.b.a Amelia International.


As the Deputy Maintenance Manager, you will serve as the primary support for our Maintenance Manager and oversee our line activities. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all necessary maintenance procedures are established and executed in accordance with Part-145 requirements and organizations MOE.


Your role will involve line maintenance tasks ranging from working on A320s in Europe to servicing Learjets in the Indian Ocean. It’s a diverse and professionally challenging job that will keep you engaged and constantly learning.


Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining company procedure manuals for maintenance (MOE, TPM, etc.);

  • Monitoring aircraft line maintenance operations and providing management coordination;

  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of line maintenance operations;

  • Ensuring the availability of tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform planned tasks;

  • Reporting to the Maintenance Manager;

  • Ensuring that qualified and sufficient personnel are available to plan, perform, and certify all aircraft maintenance and associated activities;

  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of the applicable regulations;

  • Defend audits from authorities and third parties;

  • Establishing and promoting a safe working environment and culture conducive to good and efficient maintenance practices.


Amelia International is based in Šenčur, Poslovna cona A 12, Slovenia. However, as the Deputy Maintenance Manager, you may be required to work at some of our stations around the world on occasion.

Job requirements

  • EASA PART-66 license;

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in the aeronautical industry;

  • A degree in aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionics, or other studies relevant to the maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components;

  • Thorough knowledge of the applicable EASA P145 regulations;

  • Proven professional experience in the field of line maintenance;

  • Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory, proficiency in Slovenian is highly desirable, and French is welcomed but not necessary;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to motivate others to achieve the highest level of service, safety, reliability and quality;

  • Proactive and self-initiative approach to work and problem-solving;

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
