Job description

We are currently seeking a dedicated individual with flight operations experienc to join our team as an “Operational Compliance Specialist” in the operations department at Aero4M d.b.a Amelia International, based in Šenčur, Slovenia.

As Operational Compliance Specialist, you will serve as the primary support to our Flight Operations Manager. Your main responsibility will be to ensure adherence to all the necessary procedures in compliance with EU aviation regulations (mainly Air OPS) and safety standards.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure compliance with all EU aviation regulations for operations and relevant safety standards;

  • Maintaining company operational manuals for flight operations;

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the applicable regulations and ensure their correct application in operations;

  • Assist in the coordination of operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow;

  • Collaborate with and coordinate the work of outsourced functions for operations purposes (such as OPS engineers etc.);

  • Actively assist during audits from authorities and third parties;

  • Assist in the preparation of flight relevant documents and other necessary paperwork.

  • Establish and promote a safe working environment and culture conducive to good and efficient ground flight operations.

Job requirements

  • Proven professional experience in flight operations (flight crew, dispatcher, etc.);

  • 5 years of relevant work experience of which at least 2 years should be from the aviation industry;

  • Basic knowledge of EU aviation regulations and safety standards;

  • Fluency in spoken and written Slovenian and English is mandatory, knowledge of French is a plus;

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks;

  • Proactive and self-initiative approach to work and problem-solving;

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
